Pastor Hampton’s tenure in ministry includes thirty one (31) years in pastoral duties including twenty-seven (27) years as the pastor of Liberty Hill Christian Church (DOC), where he led the congregation through a total rebuilding process, while he served concurrently for many years as pastor of Briner Christian Church (DOC) for 28 years, where he also lead the church through a total rebuilding process.  Pastor Hampton previously served as treasurer of the national convocation for the Christian Church Disciples of Christ and the Chairman of the Commission on Ministry for the South Carolina State Convention of the Christian Church (DOC). 

Pastor Hampton is the founder and CEO of the Church House of Ministries World Wide Movement. He is the founding pastor of New Way church house of ministries in Holly Hill SC.   It is incorporated as, “the Church that Love Built”, of which the physical structure is planned to be a multimillion dollar sanctuary and multifaceted community building project, and is scheduled to be completed between the end of 2015 and early part of 2016.  Pastor Hampton is also the founder and president of several business enterprises, and he currently serves as the president of the Eastern Orangeburg County Ministerial Alliance.

Pastor Hampton has traveled extensively throughout several countries on the continent of Africa.  However, perhaps his most spiritually memorable travel experience was his visit to the Holy Land of Israel, and being baptized in the Jordan River.  

Pastor Hampton was formerly married to the late Annie Lou Fowler Hampton, (4) four daughters, were born to this union to include: Dr. Andrea Hampton-employed as a High School Principle, Dr. Felicia Hampton Richardson-employed as an Elementary School Principle, Shanola G Hampton-Dukes University-Masters of fine arts-employed as a Professional Actress, and Ventrice Hampton-Taylor-Bachelor of Science in Business-employed at Blue Cross/Blue Shield.  He is presently married to the former Evelyn Marie King. Together they have six (6) children and (8) eight grandchildren. To his grandchildren, Pastor Hampton is affectionately known as “D-daddy”.

Pastor Gralin Nix Hampton is a dedicated family man, a successful business proprietor, an avid reader, and a tenacious Indianapolis Colts Fan but his greatest love is the gospel of Christ, and the ministry of the love of God as taught by our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Pastor Hampton believes that we best express the love of God by our love and care of people.  In that context, despite all his accomplishments, both ecclesiastical and personal, Pastor Hampton humbly prefers to be regarded simply as “a servant of The Lord”.
